The Winter Solstice is unique among days of the year — the time of the longest night and the shortest day. The dark triumphs but only briefly. For the Solstice is also a turning point. From now on (until the Summer Solstice, at any rate), the nights grow shorter and the days grow longer, the dark wanes and the Sun waxes in power. From the dark womb of the night, the light is born.
Like our ancestors have done from the beginning of time, we honor the cycles and the seasons that remind us of the ever-changing flow of life that we are a part of~~~
Ritual acts give life meaning. They also honor and acknowledge the unseen web of Life that connects us all. Ceremony in our Evolve community provides this. Join us for an evening of practice, introspection and ceremony to honor release what no longer serves and receive the returning of the light.
Discover how a simple act done with intention in your heart can remind us of the ever changing flow of life that we are a part of! You can expect a strong yoga practice that incorporates deep hip opening poses in addition to some introspective woven into the class.
